Life as a Slug

Yup, that's me. I'm just a slug. I go to work I come home I go to work I come home I go to work I come home. Just so you know you haven't missed much.

I haven't talked to Rach about going to New York lately. I am assuming that it may be next year, pending when she gets published and the publisher contacts her. I'm going to keep my vacation stored up, so if something suddenly happens, I can go.

Alice, the first three months are the hardest. But once I saw Raffy again, and we began to visit each other regularly, I became accustomed to and even enjoyed my long distance relationship. When you get sad, just call him and leave a message if he doesn't answer! Go with a friend and do something you enjoy, or treat yourself to something you love. Before you know it, it will be over and you'll be with him and very happy. And when you get back together, you realize how much you miss him and why he is the perfect fit in your life. I love that feeling!

Also, I am extending an invitation to revisit the Rafaleah Inn in early May. Please email me and let me know so I can take the next day off. That worked out so well last time!

Raffy is so close to finishing this semester. We have the summer planned, and he has some classes picked out for the fall. Hopefully if they have all the classes he needs next spring, he'll graduate! I'm so proud of his accomplishments and I am glad we see the light at the end of the tunnel after so many years.

Until next week.

Go Raffy! Ra-ra-rah!

Yay for completed educations! If all things go well I'll have my BA by Dec of 2010. Hopefully. It'll be a sweet moment when it comes.

I think the New York thing is on hold right now. I think I've found myself an agent that'll be interested in my craziness that I'm working. My goal for this summer though is just to write, write, write on this brand new book. I wanna have it done before I go to GCU, so I have time to market myself when I pull my first 15credit hour shift.

I'll definitely keep you in the know should things change.

I'm applying for new jobs left and right, so I don't think car payments will be an issue. Trust me, the last thing I want to do right now is force you guys to give me money. I'm fairly confident that I can take care of the payment without too much problem. I just have to be resourceful. :)

Well, the help is always there if you need it. I'm not worried about our lives here. We're doing pretty good, overall! :)
