Wow. July went by quickly. I've had quite a week.
I started crafting chain jewelry. I had a necklace I purchased 2 years ago when I was working at the mall, and I didn't like it. It was one of those shell necklaces in an upside-down triangle. My neck is very thick, and it looked more like a cravat around my neck than a dainty necklace.
I went to Hobby Lobby and got some jewelry pliers, and I turned it into a bracelet. It's better, and I'll probably wear it more often now.
But when I was done, I was unsatisfied. I went back and I bought more supplies, and I started making chain mail again. It's been a long time, but I missed it. I always wanted to make jewelry, and I've made a couple of nice pieces so far.
Once my collection is completed I'll post some pictures. But my hands are weary from chaining today, and it hurts to type.

Cool! You know, I was just thinking about chain mail just a month or so ago. I did a bit of research, and apparently, you can buy premade links from some of the medieval fanatic websites online.
I remember the taxing and tedious role of rolling and clipping your own links... Not that I know how to chain the links, but if I did and was going to chain some mail, that'd be the way that I'd go.
That way, all you've have to do is loop them together and weld them shut. It's definitely much easier on your hands.
