The best thing to do is just try to rent, or share with friends. And if you cannot afford anything for a couple years, it's okay, because you will make money someday. Raffy was sad at first - he was a huge collector before we got married. But now, he doesn't miss it because when he graduates, he wants to buy entire series at a time instead of one release after another. And I support that. Maybe we can send a package of manga or anime for you to watch. I will make a list of what we have, and you let us know.
Chrono Crusade belongs to a friend of Raffy, unfortunatly, and Fullmetal Alchemist was something we rented. Those were great! We're just waiting for next year. I would like those series, I could watch them over and over.
I need to finish the Inuyasha DVDs. I had a hard time going back to them because it was the same thing over and over again. It's been enough time, and I remember that you didn't get to finish them either. I will definately send those when I have a chance to watch them.
Two weeks. I can't wait. I'm anxious to leave this place and be closer to everything. It's going to be like when I lived in Tempe. I was very happy with the location there, and this is even better. Don't worry - I'll be updating everyone with my new address.

-Renting from a Local Store-
For us it is Dragon's Lair. There are little stores around which rent anime dvds. If you're not sure about local stores, go to a anime convention for a day. Local stores flock to those places to sell their wares and advertise. Talk to the people and see if they rent or whatnot.
-College-
A bunch of college people watch anime, but they're usually to ashamed to admit it. If they're too open, more often than not they're otaku and should be approached with caution.
Check for clubs. Wear a little merchandise from tshirt to keychain for an icebreaker.
-Netflix-
Oh yeah, netflix has anime too. A lot of it. Could go that route.
Dude. Hulu's got an anime section now, so you can watch some there.
Not that I know much about it, I don't really watch. But it looks like something I would appreciate if I appreciated it to begin with. Er...
As a gamer, Alice, you are already exposed. Harvest Moon and Rune Factory just to start. Pokemon started as an anime. Some games are so popular, anime is created about them.
Even your pumpkin that you carved for Halloween was anime inspired. I think of it more as an art form than just cartoons.
Renting is very tempting but requires cash that I dun haf at the moment.
I don't really see many otakus running around on campus. While that's a thrifty alternative, I'm far too much of a moody social outcast to attempt mingling with such young'uns. They're like 6 years younger, and make me feel soo old.
Now I know how Matt feels whenever he's with Rachael. You feel ancient.
